Superintendent Kathleen Graupman
Ms. Kathleen Graupman is the Superintendent of the Greece Central School District where her primary focus is on improving student achievement and ensuring that students social and emotional needs are met. In order to accomplish this, she is improving access to quality educational opportunities for all students by focusing on how our students learn best, how teachers teach most effectively and getting parents involved and engaged. She works with the executive leadership team providing focus on the district targets and strategies identified in the district's Strategic Plan.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Graupman served as an Assistant Superintendent for Student Achievement and Support Services in the Greece Central School District, where she focused on professional development for leaders targeting continuous school improvement and building leadership capacity. Ms. Graupman has also worked as the Director of Student Learning and Staff Development in the Hilton Central School District. In this role, she helped implement more rigorous standards by engaging teachers in meaningful professional development, curriculum writing and assessment development.
Throughout her career, Ms. Graupman has maintained a relentless focus on helping students succeed. She is passionate about developing the capacity of all staff, building strong community connections relationships, and promoting the good. She is committed to ensuring that all students graduate ready to succeed in college, careers, and life in general.
She is active in numerous community organizations including Greece Rotary and Greece Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Graupman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from SUNY Geneseo and earned her Masters in Education from SUNY Brockport. She holds NYS Permanent Certification as a School Administrator and Supervisor, and in School District Leadership; and NYS Permanent Teaching Certification in Elementary Education.
