2024-25 District and School Improvement Plans

  • A District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP) is a yearly action plan that outlines how a New York school district will improve instruction and address the needs of its schools. All Focus Districts are required to develop a DCIP, which should include plans for Focus, Priority, and Local Assistance Plan (LAP) Schools. The DCIP is a framework for districtwide planning and improvement. Individual schools within the district may also have School Comprehensive Improvement Plans (SCEPs) that align with the DCIP.
