  • NYS Eliminates Non-Medical Vaccine Exemptions for School Attendance

New York State has eliminated all non-medical exemptions to vaccine requirements for school attendance. Therefore, a child who previously had a religious exemption must now receive the first age-appropriate dose in each immunization prior to the start of the school year. Greece Central School District medical staff have begun contacting all impacted families. If you have questions, please call your personal physician or the school your child will attend in 2019-20. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
