  • New Board Member James Sawers Sworn In

    James Sawers has been sworn in as a new member of the Board of Education. A three-year resident of Greece, he resides on Guinevere Drive and is an active community member and active in education. He takes over for outgoing Board member Mary Caitlin Wight, who moved out of the district earlier this year. Mr. Sawers will serve through June 30, 2020.   • Athena's Rice Named All American

    Athena High School Junior and standout soccer player Dylan Rice has been selected as a High School All American. Athena Athletic Director Josh Lacy said Dylan is believed to be the first All American in Athena's history. Dylan was also previously selected First Team All New York State, named All Greater Rochester Player of the Year, Section V Player of the Year, and First Team All Monroe County.
