  • Greece Central Has a New Logo, Brand Mark

    For the first time since 1999, the Greece Central School District has a new logo. Approved by the Board of Education on February 12, the new logo features a more modern, readable design that honors the past by using the same font and the same blue color as the previous logo.

  • Apply for Pre-Kindergarten Through Feb. 22

    Parents of children who will be 4-years-old on or before Dec. 1, 2019 can apply for Greece Central’s pre-kindergarten program. Offered free of charge, half-day a.m. and p.m. pre-kindergarten sessions are held five days a week in accordance with the school calendar.

  • Open Registration for Free Spring Preschool Program

    Sign up now for the free 10-week program for kids ages 3-5. The preschool program is part of the Child Development Curriculum and is set to begin in early spring.The preschool program is designed to provide high school students the opportunity work with young children in a supervised setting. All activities are planned and implemented by our high school students and include preschool activity centers, games, story time and music.

    Businesses and community members can show their support for public education by contributing to our community school strategy. Community schools provide expanded learning opportunities for students and comprehensive supports for the whole family.

  • When Should A Sick Child Stay Home from School?

    We are aware that there is conversation about measles and vaccine preventable illness in the area. Fortunately, Greece students have not been impacted and there are no suspected cases. Viruses and colds are common this time of year. Student absences due to illness are in line with previous years. As always, we recommend that you talk to your personal physician if you suspect your child has something beyond a common cold.

  • Get Involved – Volunteer to be an Oasis Tutor

    The Greece Central School District is looking for Volunteers who are 50-plus to share their love of reading with a child. Become a mentor and a friend to elementary school children in our community by getting involved with the OASIS Inter-generational Tutoring Program.
