  • Free Summer Meals Offered Through Aug. 16

    Greece is offering breakfast from 8-9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. , Mondays through Thursdays from July 9–Aug. 16 at English Village Elementary School. The free program is available to all Greece children 18 and younger. No application necessary, but adult supervision is required and meals must be eaten on site.

  • Registration Office Announces Summer Hours – Including Select Evening Appointments

    If you're new to Greece and have school-age kids, please register them now so they are ready for the start of the school year. Staff in our Central Registration office will walk you through the registration process during a personal appointment, scheduled by calling (585) 966-2230. Registration appointments are available every weekday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. throughout the summer. Evening appointments are also available from 4-8 p.m. on July 17 and Aug. 21. There are no walk-in registration hours and appointment times are assigned on a first come first served basis.

    The Greece Central School District’s Transportation Department in an effort to maintain costs, reduce fuel usage, reduce student ride times, and to address our driver shortage has decided to allow families to formally opt-out of the District’s transportation program.

  • Health Exam Requirements Change Next School Year

    Beginning July 1, 2018 all New York State public school students must have a health exam when they enter school as a new entrant and in Pre-K or K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th , and 11th grade. This is changed from the previous mandated years.

  • Smart Schools Project 2 Proposed, Public Comment Sought

    Greece Central School District leaders have proposed a second project to utilize SMART Schools Bond Act money allocated to the district by New York State voters in November 2014. Residents have until July 24 to comment on the proposal.
