Parent-to-Parent Exchange, Wednesday, December 2d
The Greece Central School District, in conjunction with the Greater Rochester Parent Leadership Training Institute, is sponsoring a series of parent exchanges this school year that are for parents and led by parents. Participants exchange ideas and information in an informal way. We hope you will join us for the fourth session - Leading Families Through Uncertain Times- to be held via Zoom from 6-7:30 pm. Greece Community Event-Join Us As We Listen To the Voices Of Our Community, Thursday, December 3rd
Participants will be encouraged to engage with others to share experiences/expertise, and discuss the strength and barriers of our community. There will be a panel of speakers and while questions have been scripted (based on the feedback of survey results,) we hope that the discussion becomes more of a conversation. We are devoting the first hour to panel responses with mini-commercials embedded in the conversation and the second hour to respond to questions from community members.
The Community Forum offers the opportunity to learn about the community and hear from the School district Superintendent, Board of Education, Town Supervisor, Greece Police Department, small business owner, parents, and students. There will be sharing of personal stories, information about community resources, and specific strategies that can be used to access individuals and resources.
The purpose of this Community Forum is to increase community relationships and partnerships. The forum will include an overview from Staples of the Community and information that highlights community resources, services, and available partnerships.
Time: 6:30 pm
Registration is necessary. See the link below.
