Through shared decision making, parents and community members are encouraged to support student progress and collaborate with school personnel on committees which make key decisions affecting instructional programs, day to day operations, school staffing, and long-range goal setting. Much of the latest research in teaching, learning, and child development is part of the Greece Community Early Learning Center philosophy. Instruction is based on GCSD learning outcomes developed from NYS curriculum guidelines. Teachers develop lessons based on these objectives and knowledge of learning styles.
