    Greece Central’s Office of Student Transportation Services is now accepting 2019-20 transportation requests for private and parochial school students, as well as requests for busing to and from childcare facilities. Applications are due April 1. Click read more for an application.

  • NYS Testing Begins April 1 for Grades 3-8

    Every spring, students across New York State in grades 3-8 take part in a common assessment in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, as well as Science in grades 4 and 8. These annual tests are federally required under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and the results provide information about both your child and your child’s school as compared to others across the state.

  • Greece Central Has a New Logo, Brand Mark

    For the first time since 1999, the Greece Central School District has a new logo. Approved by the Board of Education on February 12, the new logo features a more modern, readable design that honors the past by using the same font and the same blue color as the previous logo.

  • Learn More About Greece Central’s ESSA Designation

    New York State’s Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan is federal legislation replacing No Child Left Behind. Based on data from the 2017-18 school year, Greece Central has been named a Target District for having one Comprehensive Support and Improvement School (CSI).   • Apply for Pre-Kindergarten in 2019-20

    Parents of children who will be 4-years-old on or before Dec. 1, 2019 can apply for Greece Central’s pre-kindergarten program. Offered free of charge, half-day a.m. and p.m. pre-kindergarten sessions are held five days a week in accordance with the school calendar.
