We’d like to share an important update leading up to the May 19 budget vote.
After receiving new information from New York State on April 27, the estimated Basic STAR Exemption Savings for the proposed 2026-27 budget has been updated to $537.
Because this update came after our Budget Newsletter (page 7) and Budget Book (page 39) had been printed, those versions still show the previous estimate. However, the electronic versions on our district website have been updated with the new figure.
