Despite Nationwide Milk Carton Shortage, GCSD Will Continue to Make Milk Available to Students

Milk is a staple of school meals and will continue to be available to all Greece Central School District students. How milk is delivered to students will change in the coming days due to a nationwide shortage of half-pint milk cartons. At elementary schools, milk will be served in pre-poured cups with lids. Secondary students will pour their own milk from dispensers in the cafeteria.

Our milk supplier anticipates that the carton shortage could extend into early 2024. No matter the duration, Greece Central remains committed to making milk available to students at every meal.
