Positive Case Notifications for the Week of January 18

January 23, 2021

We have been notified of the following new positive cases of COVID-19 within our school community:

  • An Athena High School student who was last at school on January 19;
  • An Arcadia High School student who was last at school in March;
  • An Olympia student who was last at school on October 23; and,
  • An Arcadia Middle School staff member who last worked January 20.

January 22, 2021

We have been notified of the following new positive cases of COVID-19 within our school community:

  • An Athena Middle School staff member who last worked on January 20;
  • A Craig Hill Elementary School student who was last at school on January 11;
  • A Brookside Elementary School student who was last at school on January 15;
  • An Arcadia High School student who was last at school on January 15;
  • An Autumn Lane Elementary School student who was last at school on January 11;
  • An Olympia staff member who last worked on January 15; and,
  • An Athena High School staff member who last worked on January 20.

January 21, 2021

We have been notified of the following new positive cases of COVID-19 within our school community:

  • An Olympia student who was last at school on December 1;
  • An Odyssey Academy student who was last at school on January 14;
  • An Athena Middle School student who was last at school on January 11;
  • A Pine Brook Elementary School student who was last at school on January 11;
  • An Athena High School student who was last at school on January 5;
  • An Arcadia High School student who was last at school on October 9;
  • An Arcadia Middle School student who was last at school on January 14;
  • An Odyssey Academy student who was last at school on January 15; and,
  • A Buckman Heights Elementary School student who was last at school on January 4.

January 20, 2021

We have been notified of the following new positive cases of COVID-19 within our school community:

  • A Transportation employee who last worked on January 15;
  • An Olympia student who was last at school on January 4;
  • An Arcadia High School student who was last at school on October 16;
  • A Brookside Elementary School staff member who was last at work on January 14;
  • An Olympia staff member who was last at work on January 8; and,
  • An Athena High School student who was last at school on January 7.

January 19, 2021

We have been notified of the following new positive cases of COVID-19 within our school community:

  • A Paddy Hill Elementary School student who was last at school on January 4;
  • An Athena Middle School student who was last at school on January 7;
  • An Athena Middle School staff member who was last at work on January 15;
  • An Arcadia Middle School student who was last at school on January 15;
  • A West Ridge Elementary School student who was last at school on January 7;
  • A Pine Brook Elementary School student who was last at school on January 15; and,
  • A West Ridge Elementary School student who was last at school in March.

January 18, 2021

The following new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in our school community:

  • A Pine Brook Elementary School student who was last at school on January 15;
  • A West Ridge Elementary School student who was last at school in March;
  • An Arcadia High School student who was last at school on January 4; and,
  • A Brookside Elementary School student who was last at school on January 14.

The district is working with the Monroe County Department of Public Health to identify any close contacts. Each affected school building/facility will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

Per privacy guidelines, no additional personally-identifying information can be shared about the individuals who tested positive. Anyone identified as a close contact will be personally notified by a health department representative. All others do not need to quarantine or be tested at this time.

Please stay home if you or your children are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nasal congestion, or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
