The GCSD will be involved in a number of construction projects this summer throughout the district. The Commissioner of Education's Regulation 8 NYCRR 155 requires that a Health and Safety Committee be formed to monitor construction safety at work sites. To that end, a committee has been formed with district personnel and we are soliciting participation from other interested parties including staff, labor unions, parents, etc.
Meetings have been set for Wednesday, July 29, 2020, from 11 a.m. until noon at Holmes Road School and Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 11 a.m. until noon at Olympia.
