Randall Standridge

The Greece Central School District is opening its doors for an unforgettable evening of music, and you’re invited. On May 28, our community has the rare opportunity to witness a world-class musical event right here at the Greece Performing Arts Center (GPAC). We are thrilled to welcome internationally recognized composer Randall Standridge for a special residency that culminates in a powerful, free concert for all.

Be the first to hear March of the Frost Giants. This piece was commissioned specifically for our district, and our Middle School Honor Band will debut it under the baton of the composer himself! The Honor Bands will perform selections from Standridge’s UnBroken Project. This series is designed to spark vital conversations about mental health and resilience, proving that music can be a powerful tool for healing and connection.

Our Elementary, Middle, and High School Honor Bands, as well as the Greece Marching Band, will also showcase the results of two days of intensive clinics and rehearsals with a master in the field. We want to fill every seat in the house to celebrate the hard work of our student musicians and the visionary talent of Randall Standridge. Whether you have a student in the district or just love live music, this event is for you.
