---Important EduCare Summer Camp Information---
Thank you to those of you who have reached out regarding our 2020 EduCare Summer Camp Program, and to those who took the time to take our EduCare Summer Camp survey. The survey provided us with crucial feedback as the Greece Central School District considers opening summer camp in August.
While much is still unknown, at this time, we are opening a pre-registration for those interested in Summer Camp during the month of August. The pre-registration opens Monday, July 6th at noon.
No payment will be required at this time. The pre-registration will simply add you to an interest list as we await details in the event a program is feasible. Pre-registering does not mean your child(ren) is/are registered for the program or guaranteed a spot. Please know that we expect capacity to be limited and our pre-registration maximum will be lower than “non-Covid” years. If and when official registration opens, we plan to admit participants based on the order of pre-registrations. This will serve as a precursor to a potential lottery system and open registration.
As soon as we have information, we will share it with families via email. We thank you for your patience and understanding as there are many factors to be considered prior to reopening.
Please note: Dates, sessions, and fees are not finalized at this time and are subject to change. All of these factors will be dependent on camp operating restrictions and facility availability.
The EduCare Program provides before and after school care for children in grades PreK-5. We strive to provide a fun, enriching, and supportive environment. All participants will be introduced to activities that promote healthy lifestyles and social emotional learning through enrichment, discovery, teamwork, nutrition, and physical activity. Our goal is to support your child in a positive environment that builds assets, increases self-esteem, supports life-long learning, and reinforces social competencies.
Dates of Operation: EduCare follows the school calendar from September to June. EduCare is typically closed when school is not in session for holidays, half days, and professional development days.
Hours of Operation: Before school care begins at 7 a.m. Students need to be picked up from the after school program by 6 p.m.

Rates and Fees:
Monthly fees are based on the total number of days in the school year averaged over a 10 month period. The monthly fee is then calculated by the number of days per week you request at time of registration. For example, in 2019-20, if you have one child who attends only the morning session five days a week, the monthly fee is $169. If you have one child who attends only the afternoon session, the fee is $253. If you have one child who attends both the morning and afternoon sessions five days a week, the fee is $422. More information about daily rates and acceptable forms of payment may be found on page 4 of the registration form. The monthly payment schedule is on page 12 of the Parent Handbook.
Both of these forms may be found by clicking here.
