    The Hope Food Pantry is open to families of the Greece community in need of temporary assistance.

    Monthly Distribution: Appointment cards are handed out starting at 10:30 a.m. on the day of distribution. Appointments are in half-hour intervals beginning at noon and ending at 4 p.m. for distribution. Our typical distribution takes place on the 4th Saturday of the month. There are exceptions due to holidays and other factors. 

    Eligibility: Hope Food Pantry, in agreement with FoodLink, services Greece residents only.  Proof of address and a government issued I.D. are necessary to validate residency.

    You MUST Have:  1. Government issued photo ID to verify identity        2. Recent utility bill to verify address

    Free clothing available to Greece residents once per month.  Bring proof of residence.  No appointment necessary.  Hours are 9-11 a.m. Monday-Saturday.

    Provides one week's worth of food to families in crisis situations.  Personal care items and infant supplies, such as diapers and formula, may also be provided on a limited basis.  Families should call the number above to request assistance.  Volunteers will drive the food to your home.

    Once a month, those in need can go to the center and get a shopping bag full of groceries, such as rice, soup, sauce and pasta.  There are also non-food items, such as diapers, baby formula and clothing.

    The center also provides back-to-school outreach, where children receive backpacks filled with school supplies; a Thanksgiving outreach, where food baskets filled with trimmings for a Thanksgiving dinner are provided; Christmas Hope, which provides families with food and gifts during the holiday season; and the Community Emergency Response Team, which provides short-term assistance to those in need due to weather, fire or natural disaster.
